OVERVIEW

PlayPal is a service and mobile app concept designed to help people find sports partners, organize games, and book nearby venues with less social and logistical effort. The project focuses on supporting casual and active sports players who struggle to participate regularly due to coordination, social, or accessibility barriers.

SECTION 2: THE PROBLEM (THE CHALLENGE)

Context

Many people enjoy playing sports, but struggle to do so regularly because organising group activities takes effort. Finding suitable partners, aligning schedules, booking venues, and considering travel distance often turns a simple plan into a frustrating task.

This challenge is ubiquitous among students and young professionals living in cities, where time constraints, public transport, and changing routines make coordination harder. While individual fitness options like gyms are easily accessible, casual group sports require more planning and social effort.
